According to the Kuwaiti Ministry of Justice’s most recent weekly report, real estate transactions have decreased significantly in terms of both the number of contracts and the total value. From June 13 to 20, the number of traded contracts fell by 88.3% compared to the previous week, with only 14 contracts registered versus 120 the previous week, a decrease of 106 contracts.
The total value of these real estate contracts also fell sharply, totaling approximately 18.08 million dinars, an 85.7% decrease from the previous week’s total of 126.290 million dinars, representing a 108.210 million dinar decline. Private real estate dominated contract types, accounting for 11 properties valued at 4.950 million dinars.

There was no activity in the craft, industrial, exhibition, warehouse, or coastal real estate sectors this week. Among the governorates, Al-Ahmadi led with six contracts worth 7.915 million dinars. Hawalli Governorate followed with four contracts totaling 3.980 million dinars, including two for private real estate, one for investment real estate, and one commercial contract. The Capital Governorate registered three private real estate contracts totaling 1.735 million dinars, while Farwaniya Governorate only had one contract for private real estate worth 450,000 dinars.
