The Makkah Bus service covers 12 routes, spanning over 560 kilometers and serving 438 stations throughout the city. Tickets can be purchased through the Makkah Bus mobile app or at ticket vending machines located at bus stops. The service is operated by the General Transport Center under the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites (RCMC).

Purchasing bus tickets
Single-use paper tickets are available for purchase on the bus, from a ticket vending machine, or through our convenient app. To purchase a ticket using the app, simply follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Tickets section and tap on Buy Tickets.
2. Choose between an express or regular ticket and input your email address.
3. Complete the transaction by using your credit/debit card or mobile wallet.
4. Your ticket will be delivered as a PDF to your registered email. Simply scan the QR code on the PDF at the bus entrance.
