In Ajman, real estate transactions accounted for AED3.4 billion in the first quarter of 2023.
In the first three months of 2023, there were 2,630 real estate transactions, up 6.25 percent from the same period in 2022, according to Eng. Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director-General of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman.
Al Muhairi continued, noting that the real estate sector in Ajman has maintained its positive level of development, helped by a variety of local investment opportunities. The quarterly report on real estate transactions in the emirate listed 555 mortgage applications worth AED761 million during the reporting period.
Sequentially, local real estate agreements totaled AED1.4 billion, up 34% from January. This increase may be directly attributed to the Ajman Real Estate Investment Exhibition, which saw the signature of 75 real estate deals totaling AED44.2 billion.
