Saudi Arabia’s NEOM has revealed plans for Magna, a luxury lifestyle coastal destination. Magna is located on the Gulf of Aqaba coast and includes the newly announced destinations of Leyja, Epicon, Siranna, Utamo, Norlana, Aquellum, Zardun, Xaynor, Elanan, Gidori, Treyam, and Jaumur.
The twelve destinations will cover 120 kilometers. Each is distinct, with its own set of offerings for residents and guests, but they all work together to create a unified destination.
The development will include 15 luxury hotels, 1,600 hotel rooms, suites, apartments, and more than 2,500 premium residences spread across its destinations.
Nadhmi Al-Nasr, Chief Executive Officer, NEOM, said: “NEOM’s premier coastal region of Magna is a treasure of tomorrow, steeped in natural beauty and advanced technology. Aligned with our three pillars of redefining business, conservation, and livability, Magna will play a key role in building a strong tourism ecosystem within NEOM.”
According to Saudi Vision 2030, Magna and its destinations will create 15,000 jobs in the tourism, leisure, and hospitality sectors.
The development is expected to add SR2.6 billion to the kingdom’s GDP by 2030, house 14,500 people, and welcome over 300,000 overnight visitors each year.
Magna is NEOM’s newest region in the evolving giga-project development in northwest Saudi Arabia, joining Sindalah, THE LINE, Trojena, and Oxagon.
