Al Quoz is a mixed-use neighborhood located in western Dubai. Al Quoz is divided into commercial and residential sectors, although Al Quoz 3 is a spillover of the industrial area. Zones 1, 2, and 4 are mainly residential.
This community is bounded by the Al Wasl community to the north and by Al Safa, Umm Al Sheif, and Al Manara to the west, creating a long rectangle between Al Khail Road and Sheikh Zayed Road.
This area is close to both Safa Park and Business Bay, which gives it access to great schools, healthcare facilities, and shopping (Dubai Mall is a couple of minutes away, Mall of the Emirates less than 10 in Al Barsha).
There are more residential buildings than villas. The prices here are cheaper than the prices in Jumeirah.
Schools:
Many schools are present in – Indian High School, German International School, Dubai First School, and Towheed Iranian School. However just across the Sheikh Zayed Road in Al Safa are many more – the English College, JPS, Emirates English Speaking School to name but three.
Its Location:
This community is in touch with Downtown Dubai, with new Dubai, with Media and Internet City, and the Financial City. In fact, because getting onto SZR and Al Khail road is very simple, it’s a highway away actually from almost anywhere in the emirate.
Hotels:
Besides the residential and commercial properties, there are hotels in Al Quoz namely:
- Ascot Hotel (4-star hotel)
- Urban Al Khoory (located just off Sheikh Zayed Road)
Clinics and Hospitals:
There are several clinics in Al Quoz that offers the best health care facilities to the patients. These include Aster Clinic, Al Quoz, Medilife Polyclinic LLC, Toronto Medical Center, Al Quoz City Star Polyclinic, Syed Sadiq Clinic, Noor Al Shefa Clinic, and Access Clinic.
Another medical care office just a little further away is the iCare Clinic which is situated on Al Wahda Street, right across Sheik Zayed Road. Burjeel Hospital for Advanced Surgery is situated on Sheik Zayed Road near Al Serkal Avenue, one can get to this emergency clinic within a 10-minute drive. Most residents visit this hospital for its superior orthopedic treatment.
