The Involuntary Loss of Employment Scheme (ILOE) – iloe.ae, the official website, is now open for submission claims. This means that workers in the UAE can finally receive their cash compensation from the country’s job loss scheme.
To be eligible for these claims, one of the main requirements is to have been subscribed to the scheme for a continuous period of 12 months. Additionally, if all other conditions are met, a claim must be submitted within 30 days after the termination of the employment relationship.
It is important to note that workers must ensure their employer has canceled their work permit before proceeding with the claim, as stated by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE).
By adhering to these guidelines, workers can now access the benefits they are entitled to through the ILOE scheme.
How to submit ILOE claim online
Step 1 – Login to your ILOE account:
- To access the ILOE website, please visit iloe.ae and locate the ‘submit your claim’ button on the homepage. Once found, proceed to click on the ‘Submit your claim’ option again on the subsequent login page.
- To proceed with the login process, choose the ‘Login with One-Time Password (OTP)’ option. Enter your mobile number and Emirates ID, and then click on the ‘Request OTP’ button. Finally, input the OTP that has been sent to you via SMS.
Step 2 – Fill in the claim submission form:
- After completing the registration process, you will be directed to a personalized dashboard. Here, you can conveniently access all the pertinent information regarding your insurance policy, including policy details and payment history. Additionally, you will be able to verify whether you have paid the full premium for the 12-month subscription period.
- To initiate a claim, simply navigate to the menu on the left-hand side of the screen and locate the ‘Claim Submission’ button.
- Once you have located the button, proceed by confirming the employee’s name, policy duration, and your registered mobile number. It is important to ensure that the mobile number provided matches the one used during the registration process with ILOE. Once you have verified this information, click on ‘Proceed to your claim process’ to continue.
Step 3 – Confirm contract termination details:
- Firstly, you will need to confirm the reason for canceling (terminating) the contract and provide the date of cancellation (dismissal).
- If the provided details are accurate, simply select ‘yes’ and click on the green ‘Submit claim’ button.
- If the details are incorrect, select ‘no’ and explain the inaccuracies in the remarks section. Additionally, you can upload any supporting documents. Once you have completed these steps, click on the ‘Submit claim’ button.
*It is important to note that if your company is not registered with MOHRE, the reason and date of cancellation will not be available. Instead, the screen will display ‘N/A’ (Not Applicable). In this case, you can proceed by clicking on the ‘Submit claim’ button.
Step 4: Select how you want to receive payout:

For bank transfers, please follow these steps:
- Choose the bank name from the provided drop-down menu.
- Fill in the International Bank Account Number (IBAN) and account number.
