Every driver in the UAE is well aware of the financial consequences of speeding or neglecting to pay for parking. Traffic fines are essential for upholding road safety for both drivers and pedestrians. Whether it’s a simple mistake or a moment of distraction, receiving a traffic fine is common. If you find yourself in this predicament, fear not. Here is a comprehensive guide on the different methods available for quick and easy payment.

Online payment options

One of the most prevalent and user-friendly methods for resolving traffic fines in the UAE is through online platforms. Below are the websites and applications that you can utilize to facilitate your payment:

Websites

You can pay traffic fines online through these official websites:

  • Ministry of Interior (MOI): moi.gov.ae
    • Dubai Police: dubaipolice.gov.ae
    • Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA): rta.gov.ae

Mobile apps

There are various government applications accessible for users of Apple, Android, and Huawei devices.

1. Ministry of Interior (MOI) App

One of these apps is the Ministry of Interior (MOI) App, which offers a convenient way to manage traffic fines. To use the app, simply log in with your UAE Pass account. From the homepage, select Traffic Fine Payment. Enter your Traffic Code (TC), license number, plate number, or Emirates ID, and tap Fines. Choose the fine(s) you wish to pay, apply any available discounts, and proceed to payment. The process is completed through a secure online payment gateway, and a digital receipt will be provided for your records.

2. TAMM App (Abu Dhabi)

To access the TAMM app, simply download it and log in using your UAE Pass credentials.

Once logged in, navigate to the Payments section and select Traffic Fines Payment.

By linking your car registration details, you can easily view any outstanding fines without the need for additional input.

Choose the fines you wish to pay and complete the transaction securely through the payment gateway.

In Abu Dhabi, taking advantage of the early payment option for traffic fines can result in a generous 35% discount.

3. Dubai Police app

To access the Fine Inquiry and Payment feature, simply open the app and scroll to the designated section.

You can search for fines using various methods, including the vehicle plate number, Traffic Code (TC) number, driving license number, or ticket number. Once you have located the fines you wish to pay, select them and proceed to complete the payment process.

If you find yourself facing a significant amount of traffic fines, Dubai Police offers the convenient option to pay them in installments. To learn more about this installment payment plan and how to link it to your bank account, click on the following link: https://gulfnews.com/living-in-uae/transport/want-to-pay-your-dubai-traffic-fines-in-installments-heres-how-you-link-it-to-your-bank-account-1.1642172157433.

4. Dubai Now app

To access your account, please log in using your UAE Pass credentials. Once logged in, the app will automatically identify any outstanding fines associated with the Driving category. You can then securely select and pay these fines directly through the platform.

5. RTA App

To access your account, please log in using your UAE Pass credentials.

Once logged in, navigate to the Fines section to view any outstanding fines. Here, you will find detailed information such as the date and location of each fine.

To settle your fines, simply select the fine(s) you wish to pay and proceed to make the payment using a credit card or e-wallet.
