Here is what to expect: fireworks, free drone shows, and concerts.
Dubai: The 46-day Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) is ready to begin, and locals in Dubai can anticipate a lot of shopping and entertainment. This year’s DSF calendar is anticipated to be jam-packed with events, from hotels providing staycation bargains to restaurants and stores taking part in huge sales and lottery draws that produce winners every day.
On October 16, some information about the forthcoming DSF was disclosed, although a more complete lineup is anticipated soon. Here is what we currently know.
When will the Dubai Shopping Festival take place?
The 28th edition of DSF will start from December 15, 2022, to January 29, 2023.
Free-to-attend drone show
With the Dubai Shopping Festival, the world-beating drone shows will return. Visitors can go to Bluewaters Island and The Beach opposite JBR to experience the free shows. The times for the show, which was a daily feature in the DSF last season, have not yet been made public.
DSF has always featured plenty of fireworks. The fireworks’ times and locations, however, have not yet been revealed.
Pop-up market, traveling water circus
A pop-up market called “Market Outside the Box” will be put up at Burj Park in Downtown Dubai in addition to malls and retail centers offering steep discounts (MOTB).
Along with a traveling water circus named the Fontana Circus, Vibes by the Bay at Festival Plaza in Dubai Festival City Mall will also feature a number of new installations.
This year’s DSF lineup will also feature a number of concerts, including ones by popular singer and songwriter Kadim Al Sahir of Iraq and Australian singer and songwriter Kylie Minogue, both of whom are referred to as “The Caesar of Arabic music.”
