If you are a frequent user of the Dubai Metro, bus, or taxi, obtaining a personal nol card is an excellent option. This card is linked to your Emirates ID and contact information, making it a convenient and secure way to pay for your transportation needs.
What distinguishes the blue or personal nol card from the anonymous silver or gold nol card is that you can recover your balance if your card is lost or stolen. This feature provides peace of mind and ensures that you do not lose your hard-earned money.
Moreover, the personal nol card offers additional benefits. People of Determination can travel for free on the Dubai Metro and bus, while students, senior citizens, and residents in the UAE can enjoy a 50% discount on bus and Metro fares. These perks make the personal nol card an attractive option for those who want to save money and enjoy a hassle-free commute.
In conclusion, obtaining a personal nol card is a smart choice for anyone who uses public transportation in Dubai. With its security features and exclusive benefits, this card is a must-have for frequent commuters.
If you have a personalized nol card, you can add up to Dh5,000 to the balance. However, an unregistered card can only be topped up to Dh1,000. The top-up amount on these nol cards can be used for various purposes, not just for public transport use.
