Leading Abu Dhabi developer Aldar has revealed that Yas Living, its flagship property, sold out within days of its debut, bringing in over AED 1.3 billion ($354 million) in revenue.
Yas Living, which is situated on the northeastern part of Yas Island with a view of the canal, introduces Aldar’s well-known “living collection” to one of Abu Dhabi’s most lively lifestyle hotspots.
According to a statement from Aldar, the project, which consists of 678 apartments spread across three buildings, offers a variety of studios to three-bedroom residences with a choice of bright and dark interior themes.
According to the statement, each building has its own unique features, which are first for Yas Island. These features include kid-friendly and adult pools, a movie theater, a zen garden, a multipurpose gaming room, play areas for children, and a fully furnished gym with a power room.
Yas Living’s innovative urban design, vibrant amenities, and great location near Yas Mall, Yas Central Park, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, Ferrari World, and Yas Marina Circuit drew a wide range of customers to the property.
Aldar reports that 65% of sales were made by foreign buyers and expatriate residents, with the UAE, China, Jordan, India, and the UK showing the highest demand.
Significantly, 65% of buyers were under 45, indicating a rising desire for modern, neighborhood-focused homes on Yas Island among younger populations, the report said.
Furthermore, 71% of the buyers were Aldar’s first-time customers, confirming the developer’s achievement in expanding its clientele.
Aldar Development CEO Jonathan Emery said: “With Yas Island’s current and upcoming leisure and entertainment attractions gaining global recognition, the rapid sell-out of Yas Living further showcases the island’s position as one of the UAE’s most in-demand destinations.”
“The market response also reflects both Abu Dhabi’s enduring appeal as a global investment hub and the success of our strategy to create vibrant communities that resonate across demographics,” he added.
