Ajwan — Khorfakkan Residence, a luxury freehold property tucked between the Khorfakkan mountains and the Gulf of Oman, was officially unveiled on Thursday by master developer Sharjah Development and Investment Authority (Shurooq).
The project will cover 65,269 square metres and will consist of six residential buildings with 184 units, ranging from roomy 2, 3 and 4-bedroom flats.
The project comprises play areas, pools for children and adults, and the first waterpark of its sort in the eastern region. It is five minutes from the Amphitheatre and waterfalls in Khorfakkan and three minutes from the Al Rabi hiking route. The waterpark promises public amenities like swimming pools, open beach access, slides, and water sports.
The podium will contain a variety of services and activities on the first-floor level, from a lap pool and kids pool to play areas, and it offers beautiful living quarters with views of the open sea.
The project was shown on the opening day of the “Acres 2023” real estate investment exhibition, which Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the director of the district and village affairs division in Sharjah, officially launched.
The four-day expo has participation from all the main Sharjah-based developers, including Alef, Arada, Shurooq, and others. The expo, which is located in Expo Centre Sharjah, is accessible to guests every day from 10 am to 8 pm and every Friday from 3 pm to 9 pm.
Additionally, at Acres 2023, Shurooq debuted the last stage of Sharjah Sustainability City.
The villas in the Sustainability City are expected to provide savings of up to 50% on utility bills for residents through the use of thermal insulating construction materials, smart house automation, energy-saving electrical connections, and rooftop solar PVC systems.
Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer, CEO of Shurooq, commented on the Khorfakkan project and remarked that it is an incredible potential location in Sharjah’s real estate and tourism sectors.
“Our strategy revolves around creating new avenues that enhance the quality of life for Sharjah’s residents while providing sustainable options for investors to expand their businesses. We aim to cater to various segments of our target audience, including local communities, investors, real estate developers, as well as innovative project owners and sustainable solutions in the retail, hospitality, and other sectors,” he said.
Abdulaziz Ahmed Al-Shamsi, director-general of the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, pointed out that “the exhibition is part of the Department’s strategy aimed at the ideal promotion of investment in the real estate sector in Sharjah, and the introduction of the advantages and incentives provided to the business sector, developers, and real estate investors from different countries around the world.”
