Alpha Dhabi Holding has finished selling Abu Dhabi’s ADQ a 49% share in its construction division. After that, Alpha Dhabi will continue to hold a 51% stake in Alpha Dhabi Construction Holding.
The Zayed National Museum, the Guggenheim Museum, and “supporting critical infrastructure such as the national railway network” are among the projects undertaken by Abu Dhabi Construction Holding. Residential community projects for Aldar, Modon Properties, and Emaar were also managed by ADCH.
The flagship construction entity within Alpha Dhabi Holding is Trojan Construction. “The new partnership combines the expertise and capabilities of ADCH and ADQ,” said a statement.
According to Hamad Al Ameri, CEO and Managing Director of ADH, “This collaboration allows us to deepen our commitment to national development and will expand our capabilities to tackle complex, large-scale projects with a keen focus on safety, quality, and timely delivery.”
By combining the strengths of both companies to strengthen Alpha Dhabi Construction Holding’s leadership, this deal heralds the beginning of a new era of innovation in the construction industry. The agreement is made at a time when Abu Dhabi is seeing large-scale investments in construction to diversify the Emirate’s economy, produce new jobs, and offer new housing options.
