Dubai: Dubai Government-owned Ithra Dubai unveiled ‘One Deira,’ mixed-use development at its Deira Enrichment Project (DEP). The One Deira development includes an office building and a 131-room hotel, as well as a retail podium with two floors.
Additionally, it will feature the first mall in Dubai built atop a metro station. Because of its structure and unconventional location, this retail concept is a “wonder of engineering.”
A total of 1,450 keys will be provided in 8 hotels within the One Deira building which will serve Phase One districts. There will be 2,200 residential units, 700 plus retail units, 700,000 plus square feet of office space, and seven hotels in total.
“The Deira Enrichment Project is on track to becoming a leading destination, adding unique offerings to the trade, retail, and tourism landscape in Dubai with every new milestone,” said Issam Galadari, Director and CEO of Ithra Dubai. “Upgrading and complementing Dubai’s oldest urban area, the landmark development encapsulates the city’s vision of sustainability, innovation, and mobility with an eye on the legacy.”
With the launch of One Deira, it will also feature “the first integrated transport hub in Abu Dhabi,” reducing the need for private cars and aiding the movement of goods and people throughout the area. One Deira’s transport network will enable easy access to all of the RTA’s services, including a metro station, RTA bus terminal, taxi ranks, and 158 additional podium parking spaces.
