The Federal Authority for Identification, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) said on February 14 that passengers travelling to and from the UAE must submit an online disclosure form to disclose cash, personal items, jewellery, and other precious stones that total more than Dh60,000.
Use the recently released Afseh website, declare.customs.ae, or the ‘Afseh’ mobile app, which is accessible on both Apple and Android smartphones, to carry out this action.
All entering and departing travellers who are 18 years of age or older are required by ICP to disclose any personal items they have, including cash, cheques, and expensive jewellery, but only if the value exceeds Dh60,000.
The cost will be applied to an accompanying adult family member if the traveller is under the age of 18.
Which emirate are you travelling from?
The platform’s declaration form can be used if you are flying out of Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, or Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, according to the Afseh website.
You must utilise the iDeclare smartphone app from Dubai Customs if you are entering or exiting the UAE from Dubai.
