WiredScore, the world’s foremost authority on smart building technologies, has certified the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) as an urban neighborhood with a SmartScore of 10. This certification is a result of the district’s sophisticated digital infrastructure, which offers strong connectivity, sustainability, and seamlessness for work, play, and living.
With this certificate, KAFD becomes the first organization in the Middle East and North Africa to be certified as an urban neighborhood SmartScore by WiredScore.
Wired Score announced at Cityscape Global in Riyadh in September 2023 that KAFD had met the pre-accreditation criteria for obtaining the Smart Score certification for urban neighborhoods. This recognition follows KAFD’s rigorous evaluation and certification process.
