The largest real estate show in the world, Cityscape Global, concluded successfully at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in the Saudi capital. Over 400 exhibitors participated in the four-day event, which drew over 172,000 people.
Organizing around the topic ‘The Future of Living,’ Tahaluf was a collaboration between the Events Investment Fund, the international firm Informa, and the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones.
According to the organizers, the event, which was sponsored by the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing in collaboration with the Real Estate General Authority (REGA) and the Housing Program, a major project of Saudi Vision 2030, also included about 550 speakers from more than 50 countries, including leading experts and business executives.
They stated that more than SAR230 billion ($61 billion) worth of real estate deals were closed at the very successful Cityscape Global 2024 edition.
Along with housing leaders, authorities, and heads of organizing committees, Tahaluf Chairman Faisal Al Khamisi and Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majed Al Hogail attended the ending ceremony.
Al Hogail emphasized the outstanding accomplishments at Cityscape Global in his concluding remarks, which demonstrate the ongoing emphasis on growing the real estate industry and increasing its allure.
“The volume of investments and agreements, besides the active participation from both local and international stakeholders, underscores the sector’s ongoing growth and aligns with the ministry’s strategic objectives within Saudi Vision 2030,” he stated.
Al Khamisi was pleased with the event’s accomplishments, pointing out that the joint efforts of the organizing and participating organizations had increased both attendance and success.
“The event attracted over 172,000 visitors and hosted more than 400 exhibitors, including some of the biggest local and global companies, with international participants making up 47%,” he added.
The CEO of the Real Estate General Authority, Abdullah Al Hammad, praised the event’s organizers for their success, stating that the total sales by both domestic and foreign developers at the exhibition exceeded SAR20 billion ($5.3 billion), meeting the expectations of all target audiences.
According to him, the entire amount of real estate deals at the show topped $61 billion, and the strategic agreements between different companies exceeded SAR30 billion ($7.9 billion).
