In the Naseej District, a new creative hub situated at the AED35 billion ($9.53 billion) Aljada megaproject in Sharjah, Arada has finished construction on the first eight residential buildings.
The 920 residences spread across the eight Tiraz buildings are all near a wide range of prestigious cultural, artistic, and shopping destinations, such as Il Teatro, the iconic performing arts venue designed by Japanese architect Tadao Ando.
The Tiraz buildings, which have a variety of studio, one, and two-bedroom apartments and offer views of courtyards and open spaces, are connected to the rest of the Naseej District through a beautifully designed urban park.
All Tiraz apartments include standard smart home features, and residents can enjoy a family barbecue area, two swimming pools, a health club, and children’s play areas.
With the completion of all 920 residences in the Tiraz 1–8 buildings, Aljada now has over 7,500 completed units overall.

Kuwaiti contractor Mohammad Abdulmohsen Al-Kharafi & Sons was given the contract to construct the Tiraz buildings in February 2022, and the first four buildings in the complex were finished in December 2023.
In other parts of the Naseej District, work is presently underway on the two Il Teatro Residences buildings and the five Sokoon buildings, which together will house 625 homes when finished by the end of 2024.
The Vida Aljada hotel complex has four blocks under construction that will house an additional 529 units. These blocks are expected to be finished in the first half of 2025.
Aljada, spanning 24 million square feet, is the largest project ever undertaken in Sharjah and a destination that will change the Emirate. Within a green, walkable master plan, Aljada boasts multiple residential districts as well as extensive retail, hospitality, entertainment, sporting, educational, and healthcare components, as well as a business park.
