The Palm Plots Since the beginning of the year, Jebel Ali has begun to pose a serious threat to Jumeira Bay Island’s land agreements for single-family houses in Dubai.
Palm Jebel Ali deals came in fourth and fifth place, while Jumeira Bay island plots occupied the top three slots, with the priciest property selling for Dh182 million for a 25,441 square foot tract.
Engel & Volkers data shows that these transactions were for Dh116.16 million (29,457 square feet) and Dh115.2 million (29,450 square feet), respectively.
Another land deal, this time in Palm Jumeirah, was finalized in the first half of 2025 for Dh365 million. Five opulent beachfront houses are anticipated to be built on the 90,037 square foot plot, according to Daniel Hadi, CEO of Engel & Volkers Middle East.
