With the launch of Akala, Arada established a new global hospitality and branded residential concept and established it as the first precision wellness destination in the world.
An old Sanskrit term that means “beyond time” is the source of the brand name.
534 branded homes will be housed in the flagship Akala Hotel & homes development, which is situated between Downtown Dubai and the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
Sales for Akala Hotel & Residences Dubai to Begin on May 31
The proposal consists of two 220-meter towers with spa, exercise, and clinical wellness amenities joined by a common podium.
Sales of the AED5 billion project will begin on Saturday, May 31, at a two-day event at the Museum of the Future in Dubai. One-bedroom flats and The Observatory, a two-story penthouse with views of the Burj Khalifa, are among the residential possibilities.
Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal, Executive Vice Chairman of Arada, said: “With Akala, we are creating a sanctuary that reflects how people want to live today, where peak health, personal performance, and rest are all part of the same experience. With an array of wellness facilities and services that is unmatched anywhere in the world, Akala is designed for the next generation of global citizens who want to live better, happier and longer.”
The project has been precertified as LEED Gold and WELL Silver, and construction is expected to be finished by the end of 2029.
Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Group CEO of Arada, added: “Akala represents the convergence of two powerful global shifts – the rise of wellness as a central life pursuit, and the demand for service-led, lifestyle-driven residential experiences. Dubai is the perfect place to launch this concept, and we’re proud to introduce a new kind of brand from the region to the world.”
Every home has circadian lighting, individually zoned climate control, and water and air purification systems.
Natural and ecological attributes are taken into consideration while choosing materials and furnishings. Residents are able to customize their surroundings through the clever integration of technology.
Organic sleep systems, EMF-conscious design features, and acoustic optimization are examples of wellness-focused modifications that promote relaxation, focus, and lifespan.
A fitness center with cardio and strength training equipment, private training pods, an indoor lap pool, and cycling and group exercise studios are all part of the plan.
Saunas, hammams, thalassotherapy pools, VIP rooms, and a thermal circuit are all features of the Akala Spa. Wellness Studios offer areas for mindfulness exercises, movement, and recuperation.
The medical wellness clinic at Everwell provides personalized treatments, such as stem cell therapies, preventative care, and diagnostics.
Other features include social areas, an L-shaped pool, organic food options, and resident-only amenities such a gym, spa, and private theater.
Akala offers lifestyle and wellness concierge services that include workout, recovery programs, in-home spa treatments, daily housekeeping, and carefully planned meals. Event planning, companion care, and family support are examples of specialized services.
The development functions as a global members’ club, giving residents and visitors access to wellness experiences, programming, and material at future locations across the globe.
Akala intends to expand into foreign markets, such as other Middle Eastern countries, Europe, and Australia, after the Dubai debut. The brand’s precise wellness purpose will be upheld while each future location is tailored to its own surroundings and culture.
