According to InterNations, the UAE has exceeded international rates in 11 index values measuring the best places for expatriates to live. These factors include language, bureaucracy, professional prospects, leisure activities, travel, transportation, job satisfaction, safety, healthcare, social life, housing, wages, and job safety.
According to the German research company’s “Expat Insider 2022” report, the UAE achieved advanced positions in four key pillars and 11 indexes, out of five pillars and 17 indexes.
The study includes the overall rankings of expatriate destination nations in terms of standard of living, ease of relocation, the opportunity for international employment, personal financial stability, and access to basic necessities.
According to the report, 94 of those surveyed felt safe in the UAE, compared to 81 percent globally, and 86 percent of respondents said they were satisfied with the quality of the government services, which is 25 percentage points more than the global average.
In addition, 90 percent of respondents said they could use cashless transactions, compared to 84 percent globally.
Regarding the healthcare industry, 78 percent of inhabitants said that it was simple to access healthcare services in the UAE, compared to 64 percent worldwide.
Furthermore, 79 percent of those polled said that living in the UAE improved their career opportunities, compared to an average of 65 percent globally.
In addition, 83 percent of respondents in the UAE emphasized that administrative procedures are straightforward and easy, surpassing the global figure of 56 percent by 27 percentage points and noting that not learning the local language was not a hindrance.
Approximately 75% of individuals polled indicated that it was simple to find accommodation, compared to 54% globally.
