Renowned UAE developer Arada announced that it has finished the second and third phases of construction at Masaar, a massive forested project located in Sharjah’s Suyoh district.
With this, one of the most exciting new master communities in the UAE reached 50% completion, and all 986 homes in the Kaya and Robinia districts are prepared for the handover process, according to a statement from the Sharjah developer.
It was mentioned that the townhouses and villas in Kaya and Robinia range in size from two-bedroom townhouses to five-bedroom forest villas. All of them have smart home features and are situated next to Masaar’s signature feature, a beautifully landscaped and pedestrian-friendly “green spine” with 70,000 trees.
The home deliveries follow the visit by Sharjah’s ruler and member of the Supreme Council, HH Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, who toured Masaar in early September, seeing the community’s six-bedroom show villa and woodland amenities, Arada said in a statement.
Pivot Engineering & General Contracting was the principal contractor for the Kaya district, and Intermass was in charge of the Robinia district. For both stages, Dewan Architects served as design and supervision consultants.
Intermass and Kharafi were the primary contractors for the first phase of Masaar, with Dewan Architects serving as a consultant for design and supervision, the statement continued.
“Masaar continues to capture the public imagination with its unique forest landscaping and nature-inspired design. With the community now half complete, we are redoubling our efforts to complete the entire masterplan by the end of 2026,” remarked its Group CEO Ahmed Alkhoshaibi.
Over a 19 million square foot master plan, the project features 3,000 villas and townhouses distributed among six gated districts connected by a green spine. Currently, work is being done on the final three phases of Masaar.
“Masaar’s new residents already have a wealth of completed facilities to explore,” noted Alkhoshaibi.
“The community’s central precinct contains an impressive series of family-friendly entertainment, sport, and F&B attractions, including the Zad food truck district, a skatepark, a children’s adventure playground, and an events space,” he added.
