Global IT powerhouses like Apple and Meta are rumored to be competing to release new, ergonomic 4K VR equipment in order to hasten public watching and acceptance of these new digital assets.
“Virtual real estate investments have been blooming in the UAE and the larger MENA regions. As a result of the current investments, virtual properties are becoming more attractive to the public, resulting in unprecedented market growth,” Tomas Nascisonis, chief executive officer of Crypto House Capital, told Arabian Business.
“As UAE is continuously investing in the metaverse, new virtual projects are rising. It is making Dubai a pioneering entity in tech creation. I believe Dubai is one of the top places in the world right now for virtual assets due to its business-friendly environment,” Nascisonis said.
For newcomers, non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are used to purchase virtual real estate, and cryptocurrency is used to pay for it.
Just like in real life, properties can be bought or rented for specific periods of time.
In the metaverse, real estate properties can be used for various activities, such as intimate get-togethers, parties, NFT performances, or even concerts.
According to industry insiders, a virtual apartment can serve as a hub that expands potential as demands change. The space can grow with the user.
