UAE-based boat and vessel manufacturing firm Seagate Shipyard has reported the launch of the first units of its floating sea resort Neptune, turning into the first environment-friendly floating house in the world.
The two-storey floating house is furnished with four rooms with connected washrooms, a balcony, a glass pool, a kitchen, a lounge, two additional spaces for laborers, and sufficient glass flooring. Altogether, it’s spanned more than 900 sq. m.
The floating units can securely move to start with one spot then onto the next, using special hydraulic engines. Adjusting with worldwide security principles, the units are also equipped with a self-cleaning framework in addition to a smart automated system that operates the house in full. The floating units utilize solar energy and shrewd advancements to treat wastewater.
The floating house was launched at Al Hamra Port in Ras Al Khaimah and it will be floated to get comfortable in Jumeirah, Dubai.
Muhammad Elbahrawy, CEO of Seagate Shipyard, said the fundamental explanations for launching this project in Dubai are the emirate’s situation as a major tourist and speculation objective, its adaptable financial strategies, and powerful infrastructure.
The project will consist of a lavish hotel of 156 suites and rooms, circled by 12 private floating boats. Elbahrawy said the remaining units of the Dh870 million project will be dispatched sooner rather than later and the undertaking will be finished in the first quarter of 2023.
The first unit of Neptune was purchased by Dubai-based businessman Balvinder Sahani, also known as Abu Sabah, for Dh20 million.
