Are you in a rush to catch the bus but need to check your NOL card balance beforehand? To use public transportation in Dubai, you must have a minimum balance of Dh7.50. If you suspect that your balance is running low or if you haven’t recharged your NOL card in a while, don’t worry! The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai offers convenient and user-friendly offline and online methods to top up your card.

Rest assured that all the options provided by the RTA are approved and guarantee that commuters can effortlessly check and recharge their balance within minutes.

          1. Are you at the bus stop? Recharge your Nol card conveniently using solar-powered top-up machines

When you find yourself waiting for the bus at a stop or station, take advantage of the solar top-up machines available to recharge your card. It’s worth noting that these machines are situated at specific bus stops and solely accept cash payments. To locate the RTA solar top-up machines, please refer to the following link:

          https://www.rta.ae/wps/portal/rta/ae/home/about-rta/contactus#findus

          2. Recharge Your NOL Card at Dubai Metro Stations

To conveniently manage your NOL card, including checking your balance, topping it up, or purchasing a new one, Dubai Metro stations offer ticket vending machines and ticket office counters. These facilities are available at all stations, ensuring easy access for all commuters.

When it comes to payment, you have the flexibility to choose between cash or credit/debit card options. This allows you to recharge your NOL card using your preferred method, making the process seamless and hassle-free.

By providing these convenient services, Dubai Metro aims to enhance your travel experience, ensuring that you always have sufficient funds on your Nol card to enjoy a smooth and uninterrupted journey.

          3. Recharge your NOL card conveniently at a grocery store

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has designated official ‘top-up agents’ who are authorized to reload NOL cards for customers. These agents are conveniently located in numerous establishments across Dubai, including local grocery stores, mini-marts, cafeterias, and supermarkets.
