The most recent changes to the Dubai COVID-19 rules have almost eliminated any limitations relating to masks. The most recent announcement from the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority states that the Al Hosn app’s Green Pass is no longer necessary to enter public areas.

Positive Cases
The most recent Dubai COVID-19 regulations have not changed the 5-day isolation timeframe for positive cases. If your test results are positive, you must stay in quarantine for five days.
Mask Mandate
Wearing a mask is compulsory when visiting the following:
- Medical institutes (hospitals, clinics)
- Centers for people of determination
