As part of its involvement in GITEX Global 2025, the Dubai Land Department (DLD) introduced the initial version of the “Digital Sale” service via the Dubai Now app. This milestone reaffirms Dubai’s leadership in promoting digital transformation and highlights the emirate’s dedication to furthering the goals of the Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033 and the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. The effort supports Dubai’s vision of a sustainable, knowledge-based digital economy by setting new standards for the efficiency, speed, and dependability of real estate transactions.
Customers can use the Dubai Now app to fully complete the registration and selling processes digitally, marking a significant advancement in the way real estate transactions are carried out. In accordance with the Government of Dubai’s directions to provide services through unified digital channels, customers can easily complete transactions at any time, location, and around the clock by using electronic signatures using the UAE Pass app.
By streamlining procedures, expediting processes, and guaranteeing the highest standards of security, trust, and transparency, this service furthers DLD’s mission to redefine the real estate sale, purchase, and registration experience for individual clients. It further highlights Dubai’s allure for real estate investment and demonstrates the emirate’s dedication to offering proactive, astute services that boost the competitiveness of its real estate market and solidify its standing as a top international location for sustainable investment.
Beginning with the electronic development of the sale contract, which the seller signs and forwards to the buyer via the platform for completion, the service provides a fully remote, end-to-end experience. The ownership certificate is immediately issued in the buyer’s name via the application when the customer deposits the money into the service’s designated account. This provides a smooth digital experience that streamlines processes while guaranteeing the highest standards of dependability and security.
Given the remarkable performance of Dubai’s real estate market in recent years, the Digital Sale service is a crucial tool for maintaining this growth pace going forward. It creates an innovation-driven ecosystem and expands the possibilities for fully digital real estate services, which further solidifies Dubai’s position as the world’s top destination for real estate investments.
The DLD listed a number of necessary conditions to guarantee the smooth completion of Digital Sale transactions using the Dubai Now app. In order to use verified digital signatures, the buyer and seller must both have an active UAE Pass account and a valid Emirates ID. The property must be in a freehold area, be classified as residential, commercial, or residential townhouse, have a bank account in the United Arab Emirates, be held by a single person, and be mortgage-free.
Downloadable from the App Store and Google Play, the Dubai Now app is a comprehensive digital platform for city services that gives users access to over 350 services from 50 public and private companies.
DLD is exhibiting the Real Estate Instant Registration Platform, a cutting-edge interactive dashboard that shows real-time data of property transactions across Dubai’s districts and strengthens transparency and trust in the real estate market, as part of its participation in this premier regional technology event.
In order to promote Dubai’s competitiveness and sustainable real estate growth, DLD is also announcing a number of cutting-edge digital projects and initiatives that will speed up digital transformation, improve customer experience, and increase operational efficiency.
