In September, QR 1,419,242,383 worth of real estate trading in sales contracts was recorded with the Ministry of Justice’s Real Estate Registration Department.
According to data from the Ministry of Justice’s analytical real estate bulletin, 303 real estate transactions were recorded in the month. The number of properties sold index saw a 22 percent increase from August to September, while the real estate trading value index saw a 72 percent increase and the traded area index saw a 194 percent increase.
The real estate market index for September shows that the municipalities of Umm Salal, Al Khor and Al Thakhira, Al Shamal, and Al Sheehaniya were the top deal volumes, followed by the municipalities of Al Rayyan, Al Wakrah, Doha, and Al Dhaayen in terms of financial value.
According to the September real estate market index, the financial value of transactions in Doha Municipality was (QR332,427,945), and in Al Dhaayen Municipality it was (QR278,053,746). In Al Rayyan Municipality, the financial value of transactions was (QR336,778,641) and (QR332,704,875) in Al Wakrah Municipality.
The transactions worth (QR91,832,969) were recorded by Umm Salal Municipality; (QR33,212,253) by Al Khor and Al Thakhira Municipality; (QR14,010,555) by Al Shamal Municipality; and (QR221,390) by Al Sheehaniya Municipality.
According to the traded areas index, the most active municipalities for the traded real estate areas in September were Al Wakra, Al Rayyan, and Doha Municipalities, with a rate of (59 percent) for Al Wakrah Municipality, (14 percent) for Al Rayyan Municipality, and (11 percent) for Doha Municipality. Al Dhaayen Municipality recorded transactions worth (7 percent), Umm Salal Municipality with transactions worth (6 percent), Al Khor and Al Thakhira Municipality with transactions worth (2 percent), and Al Shamal Municipality recorded 1 percent of the total traded areas.
