Starting on November 30th, the Ministry of Interior will be implementing an innovative vehicle and driver licensing service model. This new approach will utilize digital stamps, made possible by the UAE Pass.
The UAE Pass serves as a comprehensive digital identity solution in the UAE, granting residents and visitors access to a multitude of government services via a single online account. If you have not yet acquired the UAE Pass, fret not! You can effortlessly install it within a matter of minutes by following these simple steps.
What is the new decision?
You can now conveniently apply for vehicle and driver licensing services online, eliminating the need to physically visit a customer service center under the Ministry of Interior.
With the introduction of the digital stamp, users can easily access the Ministry’s website – moi.gov.ae – or the ‘MOI UAE’ app using the UAE Pass. This innovative feature allows the Ministry to digitally approve license certificates for both vehicles and drivers, utilizing the digital stamp function of the UAE Pass.
In line with the visionary leadership’s directives to enhance government services and improve customer experience, we are proud to announce the initial launch of digital services that require the use of the stamp.
The digital stamp offers a secure and officially recognized digitally signed document, ensuring its authenticity can be verified at any time and from any location.
