The Bloom Group names a main contractor for the $2.5 billion Abu Dhabi project

The construction of Cordoba, the first phase of Bloom Living, a fully integrated and inclusive residential community, will be handled by Emirates Link Maltauro, the major contractor chosen by Bloom Holding, one of the top real estate development firms in the UAE.

The project, which was developed by an Emirati, features more than 4,500 homes, including a variety of villas, townhouses, and apartments, and was inspired by the Mediterranean Spanish style. It was constructed over a space of 2.2 million square metres.

The gated neighbourhood is situated in Zayed City and adjacent to Abu Dhabi International Airport, giving it a prime location. According to the statement, Bloom Living has been approved as an investment zone, making residential apartments in the development available for purchase by people of all nationalities.

Cordoba, which is expected to be finished in Q4 2024, was introduced in March of last year and sold out in less than 4 hours.

Bloom Holding CEO Carlos Wakim said: “Our vision to offer quality lifestyle in a unique mixed-use development is one step closer to realisation. We are positive that Bloom Living will be one of the most sought-after communities in the capital, and this announcement articulates our sustained efforts to meet the needs of our customers and provide them with the best homes within prime locations.”

“With the commencement of the main contracting works at Cordoba, we seek to fulfil our promise in delivering the project on schedule and to the highest construction standards,” he noted.

Bloom, he stated, was driven by its commitment to go beyond buyers’ and investors’ expectations.

“We are carefully selecting the right partners, such as Emirates Link Maltauro, to join our journey in building premium communities with best-in-class quality and finishing,” he added.

Residents of Cordoba may make use of Bloom Living’s many amenities because they are only a short walk away.

At Bloom Living, there are numerous pathways, bike lanes, and linear parks that allow residents to experience the natural beauty of the surroundings. The community’s main Clubhouse, which offers quick access to swimming pools, sporting and recreational facilities, as well as a wellness centre, is another place where they may relax, according to the Abu Dhabi developer.

Additionally, a Town Center with a variety of retail and F&B alternatives is located in the centre of Bloom Living.

A sizable lake will be the centre of Bloom Living, where residents can use dedicated routes to run, jog, and ride bikes around it. The community also has Sunset and Sunrise Plazas with breathtaking vistas for gatherings and recreational activities, as well as multipurpose auditoriums.

Mohamad Sleiman, general manager of Emirates Link Maltauro, commented on the contract award by saying it represents another high-quality project showcasing the business’s strength and core competency in this industry.

“This is a very exciting project, and we honour the confidence and trust placed in us by Bloom Holding by deploying best-in-class processes to ensure the efficient and timely completion of Cordoba to the highest possible standard,” he added.
