Expo City Dubai has launched the first phase of Expo Valley and Expo Central – its new residential developments that would redefine urban living within the smart, sustainable, people-centric city of the future. The first phase of the projects will be finished by January 2026, according to the developers, who have already started construction on it.
While the developers carefully examined offering great living and built the structures using high-standard sustainable materials, much work was put into the planning stage. But what is special about residing at Expo City Dubai?
Wadi within the community
The residential units in the neighborhood will be separated by a wadi. A hiking track within the community will allow inhabitants to explore the diverse topography, water body, and sceneries of this one-kilometer wadi. A microclimate will be produced by the wadi that decreases temperatures and acts as a natural barrier to noise and dust.
Watch gazelles
The first phase of the projects will be finished by January 2026, according to the developers, who have already started construction on them. Homeowners will get to see the native wildlife within the community and witness gazelles roaming around.
Folded earth design
According to Ahmed Al Khatib, the chief development and delivery officer at Expo City Dubai, the topography of the land plan is referred to as a folded earth. While a person is sitting on the terrace, there are no obstructions from buildings or blocked views, so they can take in the scenery as far as their eyes can see.
Car-free zone
Expo Valley is a neighborhood with plenty of opportunities for recreation, education, and wellness, including car-free lanes and dedicated tracks for bicycles and e-scooters. The entire road network will be underground. The main Expo City attractions are reachable by residents via a pedestrian, bicycle, and autonomous vehicle corridor.
Lower temperature
Expo Valley balances care for the world with its citizens’ health, well-being, and happiness. Its stylish, sustainable villas and townhouses overlook a nature reserve, lake, and wadi. Its unusual geography creates a micro-climate that decreases temperatures and provides a natural buffer against noise and dust.
