Kalba Waterfront project construction is 100% complete: Shurooq

The Kalba Waterfront in Sharjah’s Eastern Region, the largest retail and first inclusive waterfront destination, has reached 100% completion of construction, according to the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), and the interior design of the apartments is almost finished.

The waterfront attraction with integrated services was created by “Eagle Hills Sharjah Development,” a partnership between Shurooq and Eagle Hills, and is slated to open its doors to visitors in Q4 2022.

The AED119 million project, which has attracted a lot of investor interest because it is a leading tourist and retail destination in the Eastern Region, still has a few investment possibilities remaining.

The most recent top-notch construction in Shurooq, covering 183,000 square meters (sqm), features new family-friendly concepts in the entertainment and retail industries and offers a unique travel experience.

Acting CEO of Shurooq Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer emphasized the Kalba Waterfront’s location in one of the most picturesque and serene places. It looks out over a serene lagoon surrounded by mangroves, a popular spot for those who enjoy the outdoors.

Al Qaseer commented that the project’s modern architectural style provides a practical and captivating shopping experience that is accommodating to all visitors and residents. The project, according to him, would have 80 units, a variety of indoor and outdoor eating options, and a long promenade that surrounded the lagoon.

According to the acting CEO of Shurooq, the project includes a 1,600 square meter play area that appeals to the interests of guests of all ages. It has a trampoline, skating lanes, and a platform for free-falling. Extreme adventure enthusiasts will have a unique opportunity to test their mettle in simulators, video games, rope walking, wall climbing, and much more.
