In August, Sharjah recorded real estate transactions worth AED 2 billion

According to the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department’s monthly report, the Emirate of Sharjah executed real estate transactions of AED 2 billion in August 2022. (SRERD).

2,409 transactions were carried out by the (SRERD) during the course of the past month, with 747 of those being sales transactions, or 31% of the total. There were 303 mortgage deals, or 12.6% of all transactions, totaling more than AED 710 million. 1,359 other transactions, or 56.4 percent of the total, made up the remaining transactions.

The emirate of Sharjah’s 98 areas saw sales transactions, and 6.3 million square feet of residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural lands were among the real estate that was exchanged.

160 lands made up the different real estate types, making up 21.4 percent of the total, 254 built lands made up 34 percent and 333 subdivided tower trades made up 44.6 percent.

The statistics in the survey showed that, with 213 transactions, Muwaileh Commercial led the list of the locations with the most real estate sales deals, followed by the Al Khan area with 104, Al Rigaibah with 39, and Mazairah with 36.

As for the most profitable trading zones in Sharjah City, Muwailih Commercial came in first with a total trading value of AED 187.4 million, followed by the Al Khan area with AED 105.9 million, the Al Nahda region with AED 63.8 million, and the Al Rigaibah area with AED 54.6 million.

Al Yafer 2, Al Qasimia City, Al Taybeh 2, and New Industrial Area Magdh combined for 15 of the sales deals in the central region. Al Yafer 2 was traded for AED 6.4 million, followed by Al Weshah 1 for AED 1.6 million. Al Khatm and Al Owaid noted real estate transactions of AED 1 million.

With a total of 10 transactions, the commercial areas Al Harrai, Al Bardi 1, Al Harrai Industrial area, and Al Lulayyah were the top 4 areas in Khorfakkan. With a value of AED 2.4 million, Al Lulayyah achieved the greatest transaction volume, followed by the Al Qadisiyah neighborhood with a value of AED 2 million. Al Yarmouk recorded transactions of AED 1.1 million, while Al Harrai Commercial recorded AED 951,000 in trading.

The commercial areas of Sur Kalba, Al Bardi, and Kalba Industrial completed 10 real estate deals in the city of Kalba. With a total value of AED 2.2 million, the Al Khuwair area had the most trading volume. Suhaila 31 area came in second with a value of AED 1.2 million, behind Al Bardi with a value of AED 1.4 million. AED 1.1 million was registered in the Al Rigaibah region.
