'Forest Community' of all-villas is a big win for Sharjah's biggest developer, Arada

Sharjah’s leading developer sure is on a roll, with sales up 38 percent to Dh2.41 billion in 2021. The launch of the ‘forested’ all-villa community ‘Masaar’ spurred the gains, which were picked up by off-plan buyers immediately.

This year will see the developer make its first project launch outside of Sharjah. “We are determined to carry this momentum forward with an increased focus on home deliveries at our existing communities, alongside the launch of our first projects outside Sharjah,” said Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal, Vice-Chairman. “Arada is now well-positioned as one of the region’s most prominent and active developers, with a clear road map for the coming years.”

Masaar, the UAE’s first big-ticket off-plan launch last year, was Ada’s best-performing project in terms of sales. Masaar’s developer sold 559 homes worth nearly D1.2 billion. (The first residential contract will be awarded this month.)

Arada sold 2,488 homes last year, an increase of 6 percent. Its earlier project, Aljada, received strong buyer support, raising a total of Dh1.1 billion from 1,796 homes. During 2021, the developer completed over 1,200 homes at Aljada, with the first residential phase nearing completion.
