Abu Dhabi: Residents in Abu Dhabi should contact Abu Dhabi Government Contact Centre at 800555 if they receive any unsolicited real estate marketing calls.
The Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT), which regulates the real estate industry, warned against ‘cold calls’ in Abu Dhabi.
Allowed channels
Agents and companies must only use their websites and social media channels to advertise their properties and services.
Moreover, the DMT has warned that legal action would be taken against violators and urged residents to report any cold call to the authorities.
