Tenants in Dubai can now use WhatsApp to update their “Ejari” rental records with the Dubai Land Department. The measure coincides with efforts by important government agencies to move more of these transactions online.
According to Injaz, the real estate registration trustee who has registered with the Dubai Land Department, the new service “eliminates the need for in-person visits” by enabling users to complete their Ejari registration completely online.
Users can communicate with roughly ten service trustees via WhatsApp to finish their Ejari updates or documentation.
