Dubai records thumping AED1.2 billion worth of real estate transactions Wednesday

Data released by Dubai’s Land Department (DLD) showed that the emirate’s real estate market recorded 266 sales worth AED849.88 million and mortgage deals worth AED335.02 million, as well as 21 gift transactions worth AED26.73 million.

227 villas and apartments, along with 39 land plots, were sold, while 51 villas and apartments and 17 land plots were financed, bringing Wednesday’s real estate transactions to AED.1.2 billion.

In Dubai, residential transactions saw a significant increase in Q2 2021, with positive market sentiment and continued international buyer interest driving sales, according to a new study from Chestertons, a leading international real estate services firm.

As reported in the Observer: UAE Q2 2021 Market Report, the value of total residential transactions in Dubai increased by almost 50% Quarter-on-Quarter to AED31.02 billion, up from AED20.77 billion the previous quarter.
