The Dubai property market is setting new records for plots after setting them for villas and townhouses. Jumeira Bay plot sold for Dh80 million, which is the most expensive plot of its type ever sold on the island. Dubai’s bestselling Bulgari-branded homes can be found at Jumeira Bay.
The plot sale, handled by Luxhabitat Sotheby’s International Realty, came just weeks after a mansion on the island sold for Dh121 million, one of the most expensive transactions of the year.
“This isn’t the last of it, each successful transaction makes way for the next one up as we have access to multiple new assets on the island that was never available before today,” said Dr. Taieser Al Saati, Associate Director.
The waterfront plot – LV5 – is one of the few available. It offers the chance to build a bespoke mansion and its “rarity makes it a highly sought-after commodity”. (The buyer was not named.)
There is a half-floor Bulgari penthouse worth Dh40 million at Jumeira Bay; a mansion worth Dh121 million, the most expensive sale in 2021; twin plots of 66,000 square feet that sell for Dh120 million; and an LV11 plot for Dh61 million.
