Dh71.5 billion worth of real estate transactions were recorded in Abu Dhabi in 2021

According to a report released on Thursday, Abu Dhabi recorded real estate transactions worth Dh71.5 billion in 2021.

The Department of Municipalities and Transport reported 14,958 transactions carried out in Abu Dhabi, reflecting the emirate’s sustained growth and the attractiveness of real estate investments.

According to the department’s real estate data, the property sector saw 7,262 sales worth Dh18.2 billion and 7,696 mortgage deals worth Dh53.3 billion.

Yas Island topped the list with Dh4.1 billion in real estate transactions, followed by Al Reem Island with Dh3.2 billion. Saadiyat Island came in third with Dh2.5 billion, Forest Belt Al Jarf came in fourth with Dh1.1 billion, and Khalifa City came in fifth with Dh915 million.

“The UAE capital has recorded very positive real estate transaction indicators over the past year, which is a testament to investors’ confidence in the city.
