Just days after issuing a Dh800 million contract for marine works, Nakheel has issued three further contracts valued at Dh5 billion plus to develop the luxury villas on the first six fronds at Palm Jebel Ali. The completion date of these projects is set for late 2026.
United Engineering Construction Company, Shapoorji Pallonji Mideast, and Ginco General Contracting were awarded the contracts.
In addition to building public areas and infrastructure within those fronds on the second Palm, the scope of work entails building 723 Beach Collection and Coral Collection villas with exclusive beach frontage across six fronds.
There are 539 villas in the Beach Collection with five or six bedrooms and 184 villas in the Coral Collection with seven bedrooms. The Beach Collection villas are available in eight different architectural styles, while the Coral Collection villas are available in eight different styles. There are between 8,000 and 15,000 square feet of built-up area.
In accordance with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, a road network will be developed concurrently with the housing development, “all designed to elevate the community living experience for residents, families, and visitors.”
The seven islands of Palm Jebel Ali will have a total length of 13.4 kilometers, 16 fronds, and more than 90 kilometers of shoreline.
Who’s building what
197 villas on Fronds O and P will be delivered by Ginco General Contracting.
On Fronds M and N, 275 villas will be built by Shapoorji Pallonji Mideast.
Fronds K and L will be developed by UNEC, which will build 251 villas.
