Aldar Properties to test buyers interest in the plot segment

Dubai: In Abu Dhabi, plot sales are proving a hit with developers and investors. The developer of the Jubail Island project has just sold out all 194 villa plots earmarked for the first phase. These plots will be handed over to the buyers in the Q4 of 2022.

Investors seem to have noticed that the infrastructure works are now at an advanced level on the Dh5 billion development situated between the Yas and Saadiyat islands. The developer says 65% of the framework is prepared and every last bit of it will be finished in the second quarter of next year.

This week, Abu Dhabi master-developer Aldar launched the second phase of the ‘Al Gurm’ development, a waterfront community on the southwest of Abu Dhabi island. A set of 71 plots were sold at the project, which will be set in the style of an archipelago over 105,000 square meters. Each plot, of 900 to 4,400 square meters, will have access to the beach. (These are available just for UAE nationals.)

Sustainability plays a vital role at Al Gurm, with Aldar giving sustainable solutions all over the community, as well as enhancing the natural mangroves that surround Al Gurm. Maintainable drives range from the choice of reused materials to the utilization of native and adaptive plant species to limit maintenance and water system necessities. Residents are also urged to consider sustainability measures when building their villas, including the utilization of LEDs to limit light pollution and increase energy productivity, and the installation of solar panels for water heating.
