AED9.6 billion weekly real estate transactions were recorded in Dubai

According to data supplied by the Dubai Land Department, 2,790 real estate transactions of AED9.6 billion were made during the week ending December 30, 2022. (DLD).

The DLD data revealed that 2,071 flats and villas were bought for AED 5.64 billion, while 179 plots were sold for AED 1.39 billion.

The top three transactions included a land sale in Marsa Dubai for AED 229.71 million, a land sale in Jebel Ali Industrial Area 1 for AED 175 million, and a land sale in Palm Jumeirah for AED 95 million.

With 95 sales transactions totaling AED 237.14 million, Al Hebiah Fifth had the most transactions this week, followed by Jabal Ali First with 24 transactions totaling AED 79.4 million and Al Yufrah 2 with 10 transactions totaling AED 12 million.

The top three sales of flats and villas were an apartment in Trade Center that went for AED 336 million, an apartment in Island 2 that went for AED 133 million, and an apartment in Island 2 that went for AED 127 million.

The total value of mortgaged properties for the week was close to AED 2 billion, with a plot in Jumeirah First receiving the highest mortgage payment of AED 511.5 million. In the meantime, 94 properties valued AED 538 million were distributed among first-degree relatives.
