Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) carries its efforts order to preserve the general urban appearance of the emirate, with the help of a campaign against the abandoned and neglected buildings on Abu Dhabi Island.
The authority left over the campaign in coexistence with Abu Dhabi Police and Abu Dhabi Distribution Company.
ADM informed the owners of such buildings regarding the maintenance and occupancy of the building and signaled the authorities of its destruction in a period of 14 days.
ADM also brings the examination of empty buildings and preparation of reports to judge the condition of buildings and submit them to the Abandoned Buildings Inspection Committee for follow-up.
The City Municipality Center has provided 811 awareness measures in 2020 and provided 68 violations.
