AI Zari provided that the construction site of the mosque is one of the most vital sites that provide many of the people of the region; it is constructed on a total area of 207m2, and can lodge around 295 worshippers at a time, Sharjah Government Media Bureau’s (SGMB) Sharjah24 reported.
The mosques took a cost of $353,934 (AED1.3m) in its making, in coordination with the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments in the emirate.
It is predicted that the construction work will be completed in “mid of next May“.
AI zari also informed that the mosque will provide several services and facilities including washrooms, a parking lot, and a residence for the imam. He added that the mosque has been implemented in coordination and cooperation with private authorities and also with the support from donors and philanthropists.
SCI reported that they have built 6,979 mosques from the year 2015 until the end of 2020, at the cost of $90.5m(AED332.5m). The mosque-building project, which engulfs several countries from all around the globe, has been implemented in accordance with Red Crescent Authority, UAE embassies, and the regional SCI offices in the counties.
