Aldar finishes work on the two latest mosques in Abu Dhabi

Leading UAE developer Aldar Properties has reported that both Yas Acres Mosque and World Trade Centre Abu Dhabi Mosque will welcome their first worshippers during Ramdan.

Yas Acres Mosque will open for Friday petitions on April 16, while the World Trade Center Abu Dhabi Mosque will open on April 30.

Situated on the primary road of Yas Acres, the new 3,300 sq m mosque will serve residents of the development, just as the encompassing communities.

Designed with a modern and functional style, Yas Acres Mosque will have the ability to invite 2,450 admirers, with isolated offices made for people. The mosque will also include a library and a classroom for educating the Quran.

Built over a space of more than 1,950 sq m, the World Trade Center Abu Dhabi Mosque will have the ability to invite in excess of 900 admirers.

It is situated on the World Trade Center Abu Dhabi site and will invite both male and female worshippers to an office planned on three floors.

In line with Aldar’s commitment to making spots of worship inside its incorporated communities, the organization will also open Reem Central Park Mosque towards the end of 2021, with a limit with respect to 2,000 admirers.

As with each of the existing mosques built by Aldar, Yas Acres Mosque, World Trade Center Abu Dhabi Mosque, and Reem Central Park Mosque will be Pearl 2 evaluated – the second most noteworthy maintainability rating as a feature of the Abu Dhabi’s Estidama Pearl Rating System.

Fahad Al Mahmood, Chief Ventures Officer at Aldar Development said: “Across each of our communities, we prioritize the creation of prayer and worship spaces to cater to the needs of our residents and those living in surrounding neighborhoods.”

Our mosques at Yas Acres and World Trade Centre Abu Dhabi have been designed in a contemporary style to provide an uplifting and spiritual experience for worshippers while adhering to high standards of green building guidelines. These new mosques will bring the local community together at a most fitting time, to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan,” he added.

As a component of Aldar’s arrangement of driving local area offices, the organization has recently assembled mosques situated at Ansam, West Yas, Al Ghadeer, Al Falah, Golf Gardens, and Watani.
