These steps should be followed in order to contact Dewa through their Whatsapp service:

  1. Open WhatsApp on your smartphone and add the contact 04 6019999 to it.
  2. After that, enter “Hello” in the chat. Dewa will send you a welcome note in which you can choose the reason for your contact. You will be presented with the options listed below:
  1. If you are contacting Dewa for your residential utility connection, choose option 1 for consumers. Following that, you will be given a list of services you can use, including paying bills, seeing your bill, and turning off and on your water and electricity.

Some services, such as checking your water and electricity usage or examining your bill to see if there are any unpaid balances, can be carried out fully on WhatsApp.

Dewa will send you a message with a report detailing your electricity usage or the amount on your Dewa bill as soon as you provide the account number listed on your bill.

Whatsapp cannot be used to perform certain services, such as disconnecting your electricity or moving your electricity connection to a new location. Depending on the service you choose, Dewa may send you an SMS with instructions, a link to the service on its website, and other relevant information.
