When is the last train on Dubai Metro? Here’s how you can find out.

If you are planning to be out and about during the long holiday and want to ensure you catch the last Metro back home, there is a simple and convenient way to find out the timings of the last train from the nearest station.

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) offers commuters an easy method to check the last train timings for various stations and routes. It’s important to note that the last train timings are not fixed, as they vary depending on whether it is a weekday, weekend, or a public holiday.

To find out when you can catch the last train, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the RTA website, rta.ae, and click on the ‘Public transport’ tab located at the top of the screen. If you are using the mobile version of the website, select the menu on the left side of the screen and tap on ‘Public transport’.
  2. Next, choose ‘Metro’ and click on ‘View timetables’. The website will then provide you with essential information about the Red Line, Green Line, and Branch Line (which extends from Jabal Ali Station on the Red Line to the UAE Exchange station on Sheikh Zayed Road E11). Look for the ‘Get the last train time’ service. On a desktop, it will be on the right side of the screen. If you are using a mobile phone, simply scroll down a bit to find the service.

By following these steps, you can easily access the last train timings and plan your journey accordingly.

  1. Please provide the following information:
  2. Choose the specific day of your travel.
    2. Select the Metro line you will be using – Red Line, Green Line, or Branch Line.
    3. Indicate the direction you will be heading in the Metro. (Please note that Metro trains operate in two directions, with each line having two terminal stations. For instance, the Green Line extends from Etisalat Metro Station to Creek Metro Station. If you are boarding the Metro from a station on the Green Line, you must decide which of these two stations you intend to travel towards. The maps displayed at each station clearly outline the stations on each line.)
    4. Specify your current station.
    5. The system will then provide you with the precise departure time of the last train from your station for the day.

We kindly request you to provide the aforementioned details for a seamless Metro experience.
