Sharjah recorded real estate deals costing $952.9mln in February

SHARJAH – Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department in Sharjah informed that the number of real estate deals in the emirate touched 1,818 deals with a cost of AED3.5 billion in February 2021.

Abdul Azizi Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director-General of the Department, said that the figure of sales deals in the emirate counted to 457, which accounted for 25.1 percent of the total number, while the number of home loan deals touched 244, which shows 13.4 percent of the total number.

The remaining 61.5 percent was for other deals which touched 1,117.

In regard to the figure of deals as per the type of property, Al Shamsi stated that the number of Land Sales deals in Sharjah counted to 170, while the number of Built-in Land Sales deals touched 140, and the number of Units Sold in Towers touched 147 in February. Moreover, the Al Rugaiba area counted the highest number of deals with 66, he provided.

Moreover, Al Shamsi noticed that in February, a significant real estate acquisition was closed between land advancement organizations working in the emirate, esteemed at AED690 million, to set up a luxurious residential real estate project in a region of 19 million square feet.

Additionally, he praised the turnout of ladies and businesswomen to put resources into the emirate, noticing that the estimation of investments made by ladies in real estate arrived at AED1 billion in 2020.
