CAIRO: Czech industrial construction developer CTP Invest plans to put in $600 million in Egypt in the upcoming five years.

In a meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, the company’s founder and CEO Remon Vos stated that the investment would contain the establishment of two business complexes in Cairo.

The parks would be established on plots of 2 million square meters each and would help build up to 14,000 direct new opportunities.

Vos said the organization has more than 22 years of expertise in developing industrial business parks and currently has projects in more than 100 locations, with a total area of more than 6.3 million square meters, adjusting around 700 customers across different areas.

The project the company plans to build up in Egypt will contain a main logistical center; research and test centers; areas for entrepreneurship, small businesses, and light industries; and a space devoted to distribution centers.

The PM lauded the organization and guided the General Authority for Investment to close conversations and agreed to a model going ahead.
