British construction consulting firm named Atkins has named Campbell Gray as its chief executive officer for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.

Dim will assume his new post on August 2021, supplanting Cris Dedigama who will be moving to another job in the organization.

The organization has a history of delivering significant projects in the Middle East, for example, the Dubai Metro, Burj Al Arab, Dubai International Airport and King Abdulaziz International Airport, King Abdullah Financial District, Diriyah Gate, and Six Flags Qiddiya amusement park.

The new CEO is an accomplished leader in driving the two organizations and projects.

His strong ability to drive growth and deliver operational excellence… will position the business well for the future,” a statement said.

Gray had worked for Faithful+Gould and Atkins in the Middle East and Africa, the UK, and the Asia Pacific for 24 years.

In late 2019, he went to join worldwide resources management and development consultancy Currie and Brown to lead the organization’s worldwide project management agenda.

[He] is now returning to Atkins, a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group,” the company said.
