Al Turath Al Aseel Contracting has been awarded an AED 150 million ($40.84 million) contract by Dubai South Properties to construct the South Living Tower, a luxury apartment complex located in the Residential District of Dubai South.
Due to the high demand for roomy apartments in Dubai South, the project was launched in June of this year with an alluring post-handover payment plan, according to the company.
The project, which is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2027, will have 209 roomy apartments, including studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, as well as special-terraced units that provide a combination of indoor and outdoor living. A state-of-the-art gym, sauna, flexible multipurpose space, kids’ library, yoga deck, BBQ area, gazebo seating area, and beautifully designed raised gardens provide an opulent and comfortable haven among the project’s amenities.
Nabil Al Kindi, CEO of Dubai South Properties, said: “The demand for residential apartments at Dubai South has been steadily growing over the past few years. Following the announcement of the new passenger terminals at Al Maktoum International Airport in April, we witnessed a notable surge in interest for housing, reflected in the higher sales and rental values for residential properties in Dubai South. At Dubai South, our mandate is to contribute to the government’s vision of attracting one million residents to Dubai South once the airport is complete.
“We are confident that the expertise of Al Turath Al Aseel will help us bring this project to life, offering an ideal choice for those seeking an elevated living experience with luxury finishes and thoughtfully designed amenities. We remain committed to our mission of developing projects that cater to the growing demand for premium, spacious residences,” he said.
For the benefit of its tenants’ comfort and convenience, Dubai South has been bolstering the Residential District with amenities. These consist of a 50,000 square foot hypermarket, a mosque, retail stores, public parks, sports courts, gas stations, and a public bus route that links the neighborhood to the Expo Metro station. In addition, a GEMS Founders School at Dubai South opened its doors in August, pending KHDA approval. There are currently more than 25,000 people living in the Residential District.
